Founded in London by a group of French doctors, Kensington International Clinic is a premium private medical clinic based at 2 North Terrace, a short walk from South Kensington and Knightsbridge. For more than a decade, our team has been caring for a discerning London and international patient community, driven by a simple conviction: the best medicine is the medicine practised in the patient’s own language, without haste and without compromise on clinical rigour.
Today, the clinic brings together more than thirty-five French and international practitioners across fifteen specialties, in an elegant setting combining comfort with comprehensive diagnostic and procedural facilities.

Our Management team
A French-British private clinic established in London in 2011
Our story begins in 2011 with La Maison Médicale, founded by a collective of French doctors who had settled in London. The founding insight was simple: to offer London’s francophone community access to general and specialist medicine in French, without language barriers or communication shortcuts. More than fifteen thousand patients have trusted us since.
In 2022, Kensington International Clinic was created as our dedicated international branch, in partnership with LGCL (Leaders in Gastrointestinal Care in London). This alliance allowed us to broaden our clinical offer to endoscopic procedures such as colonoscopy and gastroscopy, urology, interventional gynaecology, ENT, and further advanced expertise.
French roots, serving an international patient community
Kensington International Clinic has kept its francophone heritage while opening naturally to London's cosmopolitan diversity. Several of our doctors trained in leading Parisian medical schools and teaching hospitals before settling in London through British and international hospital careers. This dual medical culture, French clinical rigour combined with British medical standards, shapes the way we consult: thorough history-taking, longer appointments, careful clinical examination, and well-argued diagnosis.
Our patients reflect London’s international character: French families living in London, European expats, international professionals, and British residents who value personalised medicine. For each of them, we provide care tailored to their history, their language, and their cultural expectations around healthcare.
Consultations in your language
Because it is often easier to describe symptoms in your mother tongue, our consultations are available in many languages spoken by our practitioners: French, English, Arabic, Mandarin, German, Italian, Spanish, Russian, Japanese, Hindi, Urdu, Persian, Malay, Punjabi, and Portuguese. Each practitioner clearly indicates the languages they consult in, so you can book with confidence.

The breadth of our in-house specialties allows our patients to centralise their care, with seamless handover between specialists within the same team. Our clinical areas cover the core of private medicine needs:

- Women’s health: gynaecology and fertility
- Aesthetic medicine: injectables, skin quality and rejuvenation
- Digestive health: gastroenterology, colonoscopy, gastroscopy
- Dermatology: medical and surgical dermatology for adults and children
- Mental health: psychiatry, psychotherapy, neuropsychology, ADHD assessments

- Tests and examinations: blood tests, ultrasound, hormone panels, genetics, microbiome
A rigorous and personalised clinical approach
Our standards begin with how we select our practitioners. Every doctor and therapist at the clinic practises under the strict oversight of UK regulatory bodies: the General Medical Council (GMC) for doctors, the General Osteopathic Council (GOsC) for osteopaths, the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) for psychologists, and the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) for our nursing team. Several of our specialists also hold active hospital appointments at leading London institutions, ensuring our patients access medicine aligned with the most current academic standards.
A consultation at Kensington International Clinic is never a rushed prescription. We favour long appointments, complete history-taking, detailed clinical examination, and, when needed, coordinated dialogue between practitioners to build a care pathway that fits the patient. That standard requires time, expertise and attention — qualities we believe are essential to delivering high-quality personalised medicine.
Our clinical facilities and infrastructure
The clinic has comprehensive diagnostic and procedural facilities allowing many examinations and procedures to be carried out on site: blood sampling, ultrasound scans, upper and lower endoscopy (colonoscopy, gastroscopy), minor surgical dermatology, laser treatments, and duplex vascular ultrasound scans. The premises have been designed to offer a calm and reassuring environment, a long way from the anxiety-inducing atmosphere of large hospitals.

Kensington International Clinic is run by a close-knit team whose focus is warm welcome and a smooth patient journey.
